First up is A Girl and Her Dog. Art by Hernan Gonzalez. Tony Isabella (Jenny Blake), creator of Black Lightning, called it one of the best comics of the year it came out. The story is the bond between a girl and her dog, how strong such a bond can be, continuing even into death. It's a feel-good story that will make you cry and, in the end, feel good. I think it's one of the best things I've written.

The comics for the Alma Kickstarter are here. The gemini boxes are here. I'm waiting for the bags and boards, which will be in today. By this week I should have everything packed and ready to ship.

I have screwed this Kickstarter up so many ways. Nothing that will effect the comics. Just the printing and anything else I could. I spent a lot more money than I needed to, cutting into the money I was supposed to have for Hernan to draw the next issue.

Well, they say you learn from your mistakes and I hope that's true.

I've decided to do a substack. It's called Die Bold and will be about my writing, my comics, my time in retail, and pretty much whatever else I think of to write about. I've held off mentioning it until I had a good start on it. This site will have a paywall for some material. I'm only offering one tier for what I hope is a fairly good price. For the price of a comic book, $5.00 a month you can subscribe and unlock the extras on the site. I'll be talking about writing, creating, retail with much longer posts behind the paywall. I'll also offer free looks at some of my comics and other writing. But I will also be offering a lot in the free section so please subscribe and I think you'll be glad you did.
