Today I got the sweetest out-of-the-blue phone call from a man named Moses. He said he found me through my LinkedIn and website — and he just wanted to tell me how much he appreciated that I’m bold enough to mix my Christian faith with my business.

He said too many people are scared to be open about their faith these days, and he felt compelled to call and share his testimony of how he was saved 30 years ago. Before we hung up, he even prayed over my family. ❤️

It completely made my day and reminded me that God works in the most unexpected ways. Sometimes He sends encouragement right when you don’t even realize you need it.

Keep being bold in your faith, friends. You never know who’s watching—or who might be blessed by your obedience. 🙏

We’ve had some wonderful closings lately, and we couldn’t be happier for our amazing clients. Every transaction teaches us something new, and here are a few highlights from recent deals that might help future buyers and sellers:

🔑 Final Walk-Throughs Matter
This isn’t the time to renegotiate or micromanage repairs—it’s simply the chance to confirm the home is in the same (or better!) condition as agreed, and that repairs are completed per the amendment.

📋 Inspections vs. Repairs
The 1–4 family contract allows for inspections and evaluations only. Buyers (and agents) cannot make repairs or changes to the property before closing without the seller’s approval. Remember—you don’t own it until the keys are in your hand!

🏠 Manufactured Home Details
Replacing a roof on a manufactured home? No WPI-8 certificate needed—but a tie-down certificate is required, especially for insurance purposes.

📑 Permits Matter
If sellers made additions or renovations, it’s important that permits were pulled (when required by the city) or disclosed if they weren’t. This protects everyone and prevents surprises down the road.

When buyers and sellers work together with trust and good communication, the process becomes seamless—and it’s always a privilege to guide our clients to the finish line.

Today I received the sweetest handwritten note from a client, and one of her words stopped me in my tracks:

✨ “If you ever wonder if what you do matters, let me assure you—it does.” ✨

Buying a home is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. My client reminded me that by sharing knowledge, patience, and kindness, I can make that journey less stressful and a little more joyful.

I’ll be honest—sometimes I wrestle with the thought that being a real estate broker isn’t “world-changing” like being a doctor saving lives or a teacher shaping young minds. But this note reminded me of something deeper: purpose doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.

I know God placed me in this career for a reason. My prayer is that I glorify Him not just through transactions, but through the way I serve, encourage, and care for the people I’m entrusted to represent. 💙

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about houses—it’s about people.
