Tackle that To-Do list!
When life gives you lemons, clean your cutting board!
This morning I decided to tackle something that has been on my to-do list for a long time...getting rid of the scary black stains on my wood cutting board. It is a great board, and I've used it and loved it for many years, but it had acquired some big black stains. After a little research, I pulled out a bunch of cleaning supplies and household staples and got to work. Baking soda, lemon, vinegar, scour-off, bar keepers friend, dishwasher powder, and a scrubby sponge. It was definitely not a well run scientific experiment, but I think each thing contributed to the clean up. The most important ingredient was elbow grease!
I'm very happy with the results. Now it just needs a little oil before storing it.
