I originally built this studio for my personal use several years ago. We soon realized there are many Christian musicians who would love to use their talents to get their music out to the public, however, they were either unable to afford to pay the thousands of dollars professional studios typically charge or they simply don't like the atmosphere of the typical professional studio. We opened our
studio to the public over 3 years ago and it has continued to grow every year since. Why Edgewater Studio? Edgewater Studio is a project studio, not a professional studio. What's the difference? It boils down to facilities, equipment, and services offered. Professional studios spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a wide range of equipment and even more on very large facilities with several individual studios, or isolation rooms, designed to meet varying recording needs. Professional studios offer the most services for a wide variety of customers. Project Studios, such as Edgewater Studio, have begun to replace professional studios for a large majority of the niche recording market, targeting the market in which they specialize. Project studios use the same equipment as the professionals, just not as much of it. Project studios are typically located in homes or smaller facilities, and may be limited to one or two studios or isolation rooms. While this means they can not, nor do they desire to offer all of the same services the professional studios offer, it also means you may find project studios to be a much more comfortable, relaxed, and more desirable environment in which to record. Also, since we don't have as much of an investment, we can afford to charge you much less for our services. Edgewater Studio is a project studio designed to record smaller groups and ensembles. We have converted approximately 1000 sq. of our home into multi-purpose rooms, most of which are designed to be acoustically neutral. We are currently remodeling one of the rooms to be acoustically a bit livelier for drums, etc. Edgewater Studio is not designed to be for everyone, however, if it sounds like Edgewater Studio is what you are looking for, I invite you to come check us out. We look forward to helping you realize your dream of sharing your music! What We Offer
