Governor Josh Shapiro signed the bill, which bans discrimination in jobs, housing, and schools against styles like locs, braids, twists, and afros. Activists and residents shared powerful stories of being forced to change their hair for job interviews or facing punishment at school. One salon owner recounted clients being told their locs were 'unprofessional.' Thanks to this new law, that kind of racial discrimination is now illegal in the state. It's a victory for freedom and self-expression
