“The Way Back to Myself”

There are moments in life when the noise becomes too much. The schedules, the screens, the endless scroll of expectations. Your body is present, but your spirit… drifts. You speak, but the words feel hollow. You move, but something inside you is standing still.

That’s when I go.

I don’t take a map. I don’t follow a trail. I follow the pull — that ancient, primal call toward stillness, toward green. Into the forest, where the sky peeks through in quiet fragments, and the wind doesn’t rush — it remembers. I walk until the rhythm of my feet matches the rhythm of something older than thought.

And somewhere, between the hush of pine needles and the soft crack of twigs, I begin to lose my mind.

Not in fear. In freedom.

I forget the things that don’t matter. I let go of who I was supposed to be. I let the trees take the weight I’ve been carrying for too long. My breath slows. My heart settles. And in that silence, I find what was never truly lost — my soul.

It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t demand. It simply rises — like mist from a morning lake, like warmth from the bark of an old tree. It reminds me that I am not separate from the world. I am part of it. Wild. Worn. Wonderfully alive.

So yes — into the forest I go.

To lose the mind that the world filled with noise…
and find the soul that the wild was waiting to return.
