I’m curious about something.

When you think about using your creativity for something more…

what part feels the hardest?

Starting?
Confidence?
Knowing what it would even look like?
Feeling qualified?

I’d really love to hear where you’re at right now.

Most creative women don’t start because they think they need everything figured out first.

But that’s not how this works.

You don’t need a full plan.

You need a starting point.

And the willingness to be obedient with what you already have.

If you want support building something like this, comment WAITLIST and I’ll send you the details.

One thing I’ve learned through this journey is that growth feels very different when you’re not doing it alone.

Creative women often carry big ideas quietly.

They wonder if their creativity could be used for something more.

They pray about it.
Think about it.
But aren’t always sure what the next step looks like.

That’s exactly why I created the HeART Therapy community.

It’s a space for Christian women who love to create and want encouragement as they grow with Jesus.

If you’ve been craving a space like that, comment GROUP and I’ll send you the link.

Creative gifts often start as something personal.

But sometimes they grow into something bigger.

A way to encourage.
A way to gather women.
A way to create meaningful spaces.

If you’ve ever wondered what it might look like to use your creativity this way, comment WAITLIST and I’ll send you the details.

Creative Coffee Chat: You Don't Have To Be the Best to Be Used by God

I’ve been thinking about something this week.
So many of us feel a nudge from God to do something… to start, share, or step into a calling He’s been whispering about for a while.
But instead of moving, we pause.

We tell ourselves things like:
“I’m not ready yet.”
“I don’t know enough.”
“I’m not good enough.”

So we wait.... until we feel more confident, know more, or everything feels clear.
But let's be honest, that “perfect moment” we’re waiting for never comes.

God has never required perfection before obedience.
All throughout Scripture, God used ordinary people who didn’t feel qualified.
People who doubted, felt unprepared, and who didn’t have all the answers.
And yet… He still called them.

Why? Because God isn’t looking for the most polished or the most prepared. He’s looking for the willing.

The truth is, when God calls us, He doesn't give us the whole picture up front. He shows us the next step. Then the next one. Then the next one.

He teaches us what we need to know along the way and places the right people in our path. He opens doors we couldn’t have planned. But none of that can happen if we never take the first step.

There’s a reason He doesn’t give us all the answers ahead of time. Because if we had everything figured out, we wouldn’t need Him. Our calling is meant to be God-sized. It’s meant to stretch and grow us... to remind us that we’re not meant to do this without Him. We’re not supposed to have it all together. We’re supposed to rely on Him. That’s the whole point.

So if God has been calling you lately, stop waiting until you feel ready.
Move because you trust Him, because He sees the full picture when you can’t.

Obedience looks a lot like taking a step without knowing where the path leads. Your obedience isn’t just about you. He's positioning you to reach someone else… to plant a seed in someone’s life that changes everything.

But if you stay stuck in fear or perfectionism, those moments never happen.
God doesn’t need perfection. He just needs a willing heart.
So the next time He asks you to move, say yes. Not because you have everything figured out, but because you trust the One who does.

Bankruptcy at 29. Millionaire at 40. The difference?

I stopped waiting for the "right time" and started taking messy action.

I'll never forget the day Bobby lost his job. We lost our home shortly after. We sold pretty much everything we had just to survive. I remember feeling so ashamed and helpless, and I NEVER wanted to feel that way again.

We moved into a small apartment with our daughter Pixie, and I was drowning. I was teaching elementary art in Panama City Beach, trying to hold it together, but the pain was suffocating.

One day, I grabbed some scrap wood and sawed out a surfboard shape. I didn't have a plan. I just needed to create. I needed to escape the pain. I didn't realize at the time that art was healing me—I just knew I had to DO something.

I brought those wooden surfboards to school to paint during lunch. The kids saw them and went CRAZY. They kept asking over and over, "Mrs. Easley, can you PLEASE paint me one!"

That's when it clicked.
If kids were this excited about painted surfboards, maybe other people would be too. Maybe I could turn this pain into something. Maybe I could paint my way out of rock bottom.

And that's exactly what I did.
I didn't wait for permission. I didn't wait until I felt "ready." I didn't wait for the perfect business plan.

I just started.

Your dreams don't die—they haunt you until you finally do something about them.
So here's my question for you: What's haunting YOU right now? What dream keeps showing up that you keep pushing down?

Stop waiting. Start now. Even if it's messy. Even if you're scared.
I promise you—it's worth it. 🎨💕

A lot of creative women are trying to figure out their calling quietly.

They’re praying about it.
Thinking about it.
Wondering what God might want to do with their gifts.

But growth becomes so much easier when you’re not doing it alone.

That’s why I created the HeART Therapy community.

It’s a space for Christian women who love to create and want encouragement as they grow with Jesus.

Calling doesn’t always start with a clear plan.

Sometimes it starts with a quiet question:

“What if God wanted to use this?”

If you’ve been feeling that tug lately, you’re not the only one.

Comment WAITLIST if you want to hear about the Creative Ministry Collective when doors open.
