Pennsauken Public Schools is hosting its annual "Santa in the Field House" tonight at the Rick Taylor Field House, located at Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd. Families can write a letter to Santa and give it to him in person! Visitors to see Ole' Saint Nick can also enjoy strolling a lighted pathway and sip on free hot chocolate.

Santa in the Field House runs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., tonight, Friday, Dec. 12.

When it comes to Christmas lights, there’s one house in Pennsauken that shines above all others. Literally. During the holidays, the Hak residence on Bryn Mawr Ave. attracts visitors from all over. Now, the “Lights on Bryn Mawr” will gain a national audience with an appearance on the latest episode of "The Great Christmas Light Fight" on 6 ABC airing tonight.

Pennsauken Township Police Department The Grinch Chase starts tonight between 6pm and 7pm. The area covered tonight is shown on the map. The Grinch Chase will end at the Pit located at 4250 Burwood Avenue at approximately 930 where you will be able to take a picture with the Grinch. The final two days of the Grinch Chase will take place next week on the 16th and 17th. Check our social media next week for maps and picture locations. Knights of Columbus Immaculate Conception Council #3512 is collecting donations of new and used children’s winter coats through Sunday, Dec. 14. If you want to donate children’s coats, please text Bob Mac Queen at (856) 952-0172 and leave your name, address, and time that the coats can be picked up.

Coats may also be dropped off at the coat donation box located in the vestibule of Mary Queen of All Saints, 4801 Camden Ave., Pennsauken; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.; Saturday, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 8:30 through 11:30 a.m.

Coats can also be dropped off at the coat donation box located in the vestibule of Saint Stephen’s Church, 6306 Browning Rd., Pennsauken; Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m., and Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.
