Celebrate National Estuaries Week with Gulf Islands National Seashore! Join us at Fort Pickens on September 25th and September 27th to learn about our local estuaries.

Water salinity demonstrations, microscope and solar scope viewing are drop-in style at the pavilion. Guided nature walks will meet at the Florida National Scenic Trail Northern Terminus (trailhead near Fort Pickens) at 11 AM and 1 PM.

Location: Fort Pickens Ferry Pavilion
Dates: Friday, September 25th and Sunday, September 27th
Type: Drop-in style, no registration required
Time: 10 AM to 2 PM

Note: Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water during the hike. Walks will be approximately 30 mins and .75 miles. Programs are subject to change and/or cancelation due to weather. Additional details are available at www.nps.gov/guis. All programs are free. Entrance Fees apply.
