💡Military romance scam setup:
💡Overseas number
💡Profile photo in uniform (often white naval or pilot-style uniform)
💡Claims to be deployed, on a peacekeeping mission, or working abroad
💡Builds emotional connection quickly
💡Eventually asks for money, gift cards, crypto, shipping fees, or help “receiving a package”
💡Scammers frequently steal photos of real service members and create fake identities.
They rely on:
💡Authority (uniform = trust)
💡Distance (gives excuse for not meeting)
💡Urgency or emotional pressure
What you should do now:
🚫 Do not send money or personal info
🚫 Do not send ID, address, banking info, or verification codes
🚫 Don’t click suspicious links
✅ Block the number/profile
✅ Report the account on the platform
✅ Consider reporting to your country’s fraud authority
