Just a quick reminder as you prepare your spring practice plans.

Mistakes require repair, not punishment.

Missteps require context, not character assassination.

And being corrected with care is a form of love.

I say as often as I can: “Be a good human.”

But being a good human doesn’t mean being mistake-free. It means being repair-capable and accepting that YOU’RE NOT PERFECT.

I cannot stress enough how important this is.

Our players deserve our best.

Get your backyard reps in before the spring season starts! One of our local lax families is moving on from this goal/backstop/rebounder combo and asked us to share.

I told them “the goal retails for $225-$275 and the backstop retails for around $200 as well.” The rebounder has seen better days but still has some reps left to give.

Against my recommendation of selling them all for $250, they want them gone.

👉 Make them yours for $150.

Your local teams need you! If you attend *any* public high school (including virtual school or homeschool) In Escambia County School District, YOU CAN PLAY FOR ANY PUBLIC SCHOOL TEAM. The following schools have lacrosse teams:

Booker T Washington HS: boys and girls lacrosse
Pensacola HS: boys and girls lacrosse
Tate HS: girls lacrosse
West Florida HS: boys and girls lacrosse

FACT: High school lacrosse athletes are 5x more likely to play lacrosse in college than the other “Big 3” sports. If college is in your plans, lacrosse should be too.

Bottom line - If you want to play lacrosse in Escambia County, contact your local school, or drop us a line here and we will connect you with your coach!

COACHES NEEDED: the following coaches are needed at nearly all local ECSD boys and girls lacrosse programs:

- Offense assistant coach
- Defense assistant coach
- Faceoff/Draw assistant coach
- Goalie assistant coach
- Statistician

These are volunteer positions, require no experience, and can be somewhat flexible. If you have the will, we have the way. Contact your local coach - or us here at this page - and we’ll connect you.
