Just finished tuning this S369-equipped LML Duramax running 100% over injectors and our Park/Neutral Hard Cut Limiter.
Before the keyboard warriors show up, letโs get one thing out of the way:
Hard cut limiters are a novelty feature. They are not designed to make power, improve performance, or increase reliability. In fact, repeatedly bouncing any diesel engine off a hard cut limiter creates additional stress on engine components, turbochargers, and valvetrain parts. We make that very clear to every customer who requests one.
This particular truck is far from your average daily driver. Itโs equipped with an S369 turbo, 100% over injectors, and a built engine with upgraded internals designed to handle abuse that would quickly damage a stock truck.
At the end of the day, our job is to give customers what they ask for while making sure they understand both the benefits and the risks. If someone wants novelty tune, weโre going to explain exactly what it does and let them make an informed decision.
