Just finished tuning this S369-equipped LML Duramax running 100% over injectors and our Park/Neutral Hard Cut Limiter.

Before the keyboard warriors show up, letโ€™s get one thing out of the way:

Hard cut limiters are a novelty feature. They are not designed to make power, improve performance, or increase reliability. In fact, repeatedly bouncing any diesel engine off a hard cut limiter creates additional stress on engine components, turbochargers, and valvetrain parts. We make that very clear to every customer who requests one.

This particular truck is far from your average daily driver. Itโ€™s equipped with an S369 turbo, 100% over injectors, and a built engine with upgraded internals designed to handle abuse that would quickly damage a stock truck.

At the end of the day, our job is to give customers what they ask for while making sure they understand both the benefits and the risks. If someone wants novelty tune, weโ€™re going to explain exactly what it does and let them make an informed decision.

The PT fleet is growing...

We now have all three major platforms on hand :

The newest addition is this 2006 5.9 Cummins Laramie, and weโ€™ve got big plans for it. Between the Duramax, Powerstroke, and Cummins platforms, weโ€™ll be able to spend even more time testing parts, validating calibrations, collecting datalogs and taking them to the track to get some true time slips

Nothing beats having real trucks to test on instead of relying solely on customer feedback.

The 5.9 is definitely a project, but thatโ€™s half the fun. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Just finished tuning one of the coolest swaps Iโ€™ve seen in a while. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

1948 Chevy 6400 grain truck sitting on a 2001 Duramax 2500HD 4x4 chassis.

This truck sat in a barn since 1972 before getting a second chance. Still a work in progress, but hearing a Duramax under the hood of a truck thatโ€™s pushing 80 years old is just plain badass.

Builds like this are why I love what I do.

โš ๏ธ Keep in mind: Lope tunes are considered a novelty calibration and are not designed for performance gains. They can increase wear over time and arenโ€™t something we recommend running 24/7. We always recommend switching back to a normal tune
