Hellcat Hangar Sea Stories!

The rollout of the movie Devotion, the true story of Jesse Brown, the first African American Naval Aviator, was marked by a special gala at the National Naval Aviation Museum. The event brought together many of the film’s actors along with family members of the real-life heroes whose stories were portrayed on screen.

We were honored to capture a remarkable panel discussion featuring JD Dillard (Director), Bruce Dillard, JD’s father and former Blue Angel #8, and Donnie Cochran, former Blue Angel pilot and Boss. Their insights and reflections offered a powerful perspective on service, history, and the legacy of Jesse Brown.

Engineering on a massive scale!

The heavy-lift vessel TX-10,000, nicknamed the Golden Arches, visited the Port of Pensacola and we were there to capture some of its stay in this short video. From arrival, to docking, to departure.

You'd think this group would have had enough of the Blues, but you would be wrong! Fly Navy! Organized by the , National Naval Aviation Museum flightline volunteers got a special opportunity to watch the Blues from their space. The US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron personnel couldn't have given us a better welcome.

Kites and drones are fun, but they can get in the way during military flyovers on Pensacola Beach.

A friendly reminder that on Sundays or Mondays, when the U.S. Navy Blue Angels make their buzz down the beach, please reel in those kites and lower your drones! This helps our Blues return home safely and keeps everyone on the sand safe, too.

Thanks for helping us keep the skies clear!

The Golden Arches have sailed back into town!

The TX-10,000 has made its return to the Port of Pensacola for the first time since 2019. This unusual-looking heavy-lift vessel, better known as the “Golden Arches,” turned plenty of heads as it came through the pass and we were there to capture it.

At Hellcat Productions, we love sharing stories from both the air and the sea, and this one is a unique part of life on our waterfront.
