What a great Christmas surprise for Wendell!

🐾Today is the day we’ve been waiting for! 🐾

Wendell has been at our shelter for 659 days!🥺

After being one of our longest residents, this sweet soul finally found his forever home. He waited patiently, loved everyone he met, and never gave up. Proof that the right family is always worth the wait. Happy tails start now!
We are so happy for Wendell and his new family! ❤️

IT’S CHAMPIONSHIP GAME DAY! Tonight at 7:00 EST your Aggies will compete in the FHSAA FIT 4A-7A Championship Game! We play against Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School! Both schools enter the game at 10-3 with Tate seeded as number 2 and DJGHS enter as number 1 seed. Tate’s Florida ranking is 88 in the entire state against all schools and DJGHS is state ranked is 132 (maxpreps). The Showband of the South and Cheerleaders travel down today! If you are an Aggie in the Orlando area we hope you can join us! LETS GO AGGIES!

☔️ a lot of rain on the way this week… boooooo

☔️We are still on track for a rainy Thursday-Saturday night. The first round of rain moves in overnight tonight into tomorrow morning and spreads across the entire area during the day. It will be a cold rain as well. While there will be breaks in the rain after this first wave, there will also be periods of moderate to locally heavy rainfall as well Friday and Saturday. In total, we expect a general 2-4" of rain over much of the area. We cannot completely rule out isolated totals up to 6". Since this rain will fall over a long time duration combined with our recent dry spell, we expect flooding issues, if any, to be localized.

We will also continue to keep a close eye on a surface low and warm front that moves across the coast Friday morning. At the current time, it appears the instability needed for any strong/severe storms will remain offshore, but we will continue to monitor.
