The Dancer
At the age of 15, Dustin went out one night to support his local high school jazz band, little did he know he was soon to experience the magic and addiction of dance. Growing up in Pensacola, FL, he soon fell in love with dancing after his first single time east coast swing lesson and the adventure began. He very quickly picked up both Lindy and blues and became immersed in the dance sc
ene. At around the age of 18 (when he was finally old enough to enter the bar) he found west coast dancing and instantly knew he had found a new love. Fast forward a few years and Dustin has become a very experience West Coast swing dancer, competing all around Florida and the eastern United States with a substantial amount of awards and placements to his name and many more to come. Dustin has been Djing since his early days both in the dance community, and as an adult. Starting at the age of 17, Dustin started DJing for a local Lindy and blues dance in Pensacola, FL. Shortly after his introduction to West Coast in 2012, Dustin began to DJ the local West Coast dance as well. After a move to Daytona Beach to pursue academic interest, Dustin began to travel all over Florida to DJ. Today Dustin focuses on his skill as a West Coast swing DJ and always being able to entertain a crowd. Dustin has Djed at events such as, Floorplay New Years Swing Vacation, Sweetheart Swing Classic, Summer Swing Classic, Tampa Bay Classics, and many more with plenty to come. The Instructor
Dustin began to teach West Coast as a means to help promote the local scene in Daytona Beach in early 2014. He is always an energetic and friendly instructor with a vast knowledge on the in's and out's of the dance and is always happy to be able to help others. Dustin is available for Djing events of any kind and private or group instruction of any size.
