THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION is here! Watch the entire six-part series on WSRE and streaming free on the PBS app. New episodes are airing at 7pm and again at 9pm all week through Friday. In case you missed last night's series premiere, Episode 1 will reair at 2:30pm today, and the entire series will reair this weekend from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The 12-hour series, from filmmakers Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, covers the scope of the Revolution — from the events that sparked the rebellion to the founding of a new nation — and includes reenactments, interviews and artistic illustrations, with Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and Morgan Freeman among the cast voicing historical figures.
