We are staying busy here at 6Pines with preproduction for La Fée Verte in full swing! Our short film For Lynnie is in post production and editing is going well! You can join us October 4th at The Music Box Theater where ECHO is part of this years final Showcase of Shorts!

La Fée Verte is a silent film taking place in 1922. It follows a crime family run solely by women who operate the most notorious speakeasy in the Midwest: La Fée Verte. We have The Boss, The Second, The Bookie and The Muscle. Their specialty is absinthe, and it’s sure to make you chase that green fairy all night. But with the 18th Amendment in full swing, there’s sure to be some trouble for our ladies in this Prohibition era.

We begin filming on October 14th in Peoria, IL and have been getting an amazing response from our community! We’re still looking for a few more ladies to help us pack the speakeasy, so message us here or email us at [email protected] to see how you can get involved!

The last of our cast announcements, but certainly not least… we have TONYA SHOESMITH as THE MATRON! The Matron is the former boss of the family who runs La Fée Verte, but is now retired and enjoys the simpler things in life… like a good glass of absinthe and having a gaggle of boys waiting on you hand and foot.

We’re so excited to work with Tonya! She’s always a blast to have on set, and has plenty of experience doing PA work (Trepidity, It Came From Somewhere), and acting (Room 108: The Clearing).

Tonya is mother to our Second, Taydem Shoesmith, and has always been her biggest supporter!

We can’t wait to have that motherly attention on set and in the film when she takes on this fun role!

Next up we have OLIVIA TRACY as our CIGARETTE GIRL in La Fée Verte! Cigarette Girl isn’t your typical cigarette girl… she’s quick to put any man with wandering hands in their place 💪🏻

Olivia has always dreamed of being an actress from a very young age, and this is the year she gets to show everyone that she can do it! This is the second film she’s been cast in, and will be filming “Disremembered” in November by ACROSTAR FILMS. Olivia is very passionate about acting and is already loving the life. She loves being the center of the attention when it comes to being with a group, and is a drama queen!

We’re excited to have this queen join our cast and show us what she’s got!

Next on the list, we have our own DELILAH HEFNER as THE LOOKOUT in La Fée Verte! The Lookout is the one guarding the door to the speakeasy, and she’s the future of the crime family that runs it.

Delilah is an authentic and animated child actor based in Illinois. She has appeared in films, commercials, network television, music videos, web series, web advertisements and has provided voiceovers for animation and an audio book.

Delilah is dedicated to her craft and is a method actress. She possesses strong improv skills and when allowed the opportunity she rises to occasion to contribute to a scene and to make a character her own. Second to acting is her love of music, singing, learning piano and beginning guitar.

She has been acting since spring of 2020. She continues to train on improv, voice and technique to continually refine her craft. She has participated in two 48 hour film projects which have given her experience with being extremely adaptive to changes on set. Delilah can speak in both a British and southern accent.

Delilah enjoys being a Girl Scout, riding roller coasters, drawing characters from some of her favorite shows, snuggling with her two cats, Sassy and Rusty and spending time with her family.

Delilah is so excited to join her sisters and friends on set, and we’re excited to have this superstar watching our backs at the speakeasy!
