*This is the 2025 revision of the "Lewistown, Illinois–1936 (v02)" video.
The source film was originally shot in Lewistown, Illinois in 1936. It was transferred to VHS tape in the late 1980s; the VHS was later transferred to DVD-R in the mid 2000s. The DVD-R was used for the editing of this video.
*Tech note: Banding, frame flicker, and noise have been greatly reduced.

This is a restoration sample of a 1936 film of Lewistown, IL that was transferred to VHS in the 1980s. The VHS was then converted to DVD-R in the late 1990s.
The DVD-R was used for this project.
Banding, frame flicker, and noise were greatly reduced. The audio was enhanced as well.
