2021 Release #1
INFINITY FREQUENCIES-INTO THE LIGHT-
Long regarded as an originator of internet music, Infinity Frequencies, the evocative producer, presents his album ‘Into the Light’ on vinyl for the first time as well as a cassette edition. Released on cassette in Dream Catalogue in 2015, the artist is welcomed to Forgot Imprint with his first vinyl edition of the album. A pioneer in crafting and sculpting tape loops and samples from various sources and imbued with a haze coated atmosphere, which leads into ghostly forays of a world that is transient yet frightening. Visions of a nightmare induced planet inflicted with technological dread and information paralysis yet sinking in the consciousness at the same instance with beautiful, meditational like hymns.
Infinity Frequencies is an anonymous vaporwave artist and a music producer, publishing releases since 2012 that are deemed as one of the earliest releases in the "broken transmission" style.
The artist gained mass attention after Computer Death release, where the artist sampled particular bits of songs & instrumentals, often turning them into loops that are almost unrecognizable from the source, thus leading into creation of independent digital art that is free of previous context and is freeform collage of sound, often harvested off late 20th century recordings. A lot of Infinity Frequencies' albums became inspiration for multiple artists to expand & deviate from. The artist would later partake in creation of computer-gaze, named after the influential Computer series.

‘Met through a game. Your voice told me some kind of portal. I light up the screen, my hand touches the power button. A faint glimmer. A dim bulb fading until burning out. A silent whisper crackles in my head as I wake inside an empty field.
Let’s hold hands and walk across wet pavement. The game resembles our dreams. Environments are sucked in and vomited out as if an Artificial Intelligence had created them at random.
Random intervals when your whisper lapsed into the sky. The sound of wind and quiet chirping of rain. A piano loop tickles my ears and pierces them until I am awake inside of a game’.
