Cloud Orchid Magazine is unlike other indie magazine because our focus is first and foremost on the designers.

Welcome to the first issue of Cloud Orchid Magazine. This publication was created by two friends in a Starbucks coffee shop on a summer day while discussing the next chapter in their lives. Little Alice was on the cusp of retiring from modeling, and Bryan Thompson had retired from his air traffic control job and putting his extra time into Graffiti Photographic. The magazine was born out of the fact that the fashion industry turns a blind eye to Chicago and the Greater Midwest. There is little or no coverage of the thriving fashion and art community, specifically the alt high fashion designers located in this area.
