1978 - Bruce Springsteen's 3rd studio album, "Darkness On The Edge of Town" was released. It ranked at #91 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

1978 - Thin Lizzy released their LIVE double album Live and Dangerous' which peaked at #2 on the UK album charts, held from the top spot by the Grease soundtrack. It remained on the charts for 62 weeks.

1979 - Donna Summer started a three week run at #1 on the singles chart with 'Hot Stuff', it was her second U.S. #1.

A little "Fun Fact" on C**t 45 Liquor, the name comes from Jerry Hill, a former running back for the Baltimore C**ts football team who wore the number 45. Introduced in 1963, the Malt Liquor name was chosen to honor him. Do they still make the beer? They sure do, C**t 45 Malt Liquor is still being produced and currently owned by the Pabst Brewing Company. Pabst does around $385 million in sales a year.
