It's Friday! That means, join us around 6:30 am for a 'Da' votion:

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:7 (NIV)

God’s peace is NOT the absence of trouble…it is the presence of Christ in the middle of it. Paul writes these words from prison, reminding us that peace is not dependent on circumstances but on who holds our hearts. This peace “goes beyond all understanding,” meaning it often arrives when logic says it shouldn’t.

It’s a divine calm that doesn’t need explanations.

Notice what this peace does: it guards our hearts and minds just like a soldier guarding their post. God’s peace protects us from being overrun by fear, anxiety, and despair. It doesn’t deny reality; it anchors us in Christ within reality. When we bring our worries to God, we exchange control for trust & in that exchange, peace takes its place.

Today, whatever weighs on your mind, place it in God’s hands. Let His peace stand guard over your thoughts and emotions, reminding you that you are held securely in Christ Jesus.

A Prayer for you my friend:

Dear Lord,
I give You my worries and distractions.
Guard my heart and mind with Your peace today.
Help me rest in You, even when I don’t understand.
Amen.
