Our Creative Director, Luke, is here with another editing tip!

Luke says not to be afraid of AUTO! He says, "Auto can sometimes help you get a good starting point for editing a set of photos. I often apply Auto to one photo and then a preset to another, just to see which base I prefer before I start my edits."

This approach certainly depends on the lighting and how you shot each set of photos from a session, but Luke always tells people not to shy away from Auto, as it can serve as a great starting point and provide some inspiration!

It's not a cheat code, but a helpful tool to get you started. Don't be afraid to use the resources Adobe has!

"Why is my social media not growing?" We get this question ALL the time. Ask yourself these questions!

1. Am I staying consistent? When it comes to social media algorithms, consistency is KEY. Posting regularly, sticking to the same niche or "genre" of content, and regular engagement with similar accounts can help you out a ton!

2. Am I providing value for my viewers? Regardless of topic, people follow you because you provide them with value or a solution in one way or another. Makeup accounts provide a solution for beginners who are wanting to learn more about it. Photography accounts provide a solution for fellow photographers to gain inspiration or even for potential clients to have photos in the style they love. If you're not providing value in some way, people will lose interest.

3. Am I engaging with others and building a community? At its core, social media IS community! Liking, commenting, responding to direct messages, and interacting with stories can help push your content out to people who are similar to you. It also shows the algorithm that you're not a burner account or a bot!
