In the last few days, we have taken care of three different animals that have been shot with a pellet gun. These animals have been in different locations in Perryton and have all had the same pellets removed. As a pet owner, we would like to bring this to your attention. Please be on the lookout and if you see something, please contact the Perryton Police Department.

During these outages where line has to be built, we sometimes get a call from a member wondering why his/her neighbor is on and they are not. The answer can be for a number of reasons.
- The NPEC method is to restore the main line in an area first and then work taps. Before a stretch of line is finally energized, we cut a slug in the line that isolates the repaired line from line sections that are still needing work. At that point we will go back and get taps to houses energized.
- If there is a long tap needing extensive work, we may choose to fix the least damaged taps before moving onto that section of line.
- The third reason may be that we inadvertently overlooked that tap. If you see that you have limited damage and you think we have driven past your place for no reason, you should give us a call and let us know so we can determine why you were not energized.
There may be other reasons but generally I have covered the most likely reasons power to your home may not be restored.

We appreciate ALL the kind words of encouragement, prayers and generosity. ♥️

Hi all, we still have no power at our offices as of Wednesday. We will need time to move our physical network to a place with electricity, so our Thursday newspaper will be printed and distributed on Friday afternoon.

We have a lot of info and photos to document what our community has been through and don’t want to rush a paper out so we have switched press days for this week.

Thank you all so much!
