Please join us in congratulating Kalen Ramos for being selected as the Young Careerist for the month of August! Kalen is employed as an Associate Attorney for Lemon Law Firm.

Kalen believes the key to success for Young Careerists “is to surround yourself with a strong support system. Because those people will stand by you in the good and bad times, while also challenging and encouraging you to grow into the best version of yourself both professionally and individually.”

She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.

Mireya Cruz is an Assistant Vice President & Branch Manager at Panhandle First Bank in Perryton.

She would advise others to enter her profession.
“I would absolutely encourage others to consider a career in Banking and Finance especially if they are interested in a field that provides the opportunity to make an impact on their community and people's lives- whether helping someone buy their first car, buy a home, or even supporting a business's growth. I look forward to the unpredictability of this field and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to learn something new every day.”

Her suggestions to older careerists is to “embrace the opportunity to mentor to younger professionals. So much wisdom comes from experience, and sharing their knowledge can have an enormous impact in the workplace and the workforce.”
