Perry County households impacted by the March 14, 2025 tornado are strongly encouraged to attend the Multi-Agency Resource Center set for Saturday, March 29, Open 10 am - 5 pm.

Information will be provided on the variety of assistance to help with recovery efforts!!!

Perry County residents in need of recovery resources should contact East Missouri Action Agency to sign up for services. Sign-up will be available in the Perry Park Center located at 800 City Park Drive. Please call before arriving to determine hours of operation.

It is with heavy heart that we reach out to explain that leadership has decided to CANCEL the Grand Opening and Open House of the Perry County Joint Justice Center scheduled for Saturday, March 22.

Our community is in the midst of another crisis as we clean up from the tornado that crossed our county, destroying homes and property. It will take all hands on deck to help our citizens recover, and our leaders need to focus their energy on service, rather than celebration.

We were still in the midts of cleaning up from January’s ice storm, and now we have many in our county whose homes are damaged beyond repair, as well as the largest school district in the community heavily damaged and unable to house students.

At this time, there are no plans to reschedule the event.
