With no Democratic candidate in the race, McDonald will appear uncontested on the November ballot.

With all precincts reporting, Precinct 2 Commissioner Michelle Gutierrez Cohen has won the Democratic primary runoff for Hays County judge, defeating incumbent Ruben Becerra.

Cohen will face Republican candidate Geoffrey Tahuahua in the November general election.
