Parents,

If your youth athlete was NOT selected by his org/coaches for any upcoming allstars/superstar tournaments coming up….that doesnt mean he isnt a baller. That just means there are other kids who may be considered more ballers. Dont compare your child to others. Comparison is the thief of joy. Continue showing up and putting in that work.

Great job Raiders!

What does the locker room talk sound like? As a coach…What do you say to those Eagle players who are physically and mentally beat? Knowing damn well the Raiders are gonna run up the score much more. Most seniors on the losing team who have lived and breathed football since their youth will never see another snap of football again.

As parents, what do you say to your son after this game? How do you start piecing them together once theyre at home torn to shreds the next morning?

Why does Middle school ball in the RGV…..seem like…..trash?

The junior high football scene in the Valley needs a complete overhaul. When youth players age out of a competitive league…there really is no organization, structure or development…kind of just play whoever you can get. If you get left behind, sorry.

Relying on 2-3 experienced players and everyone else block. Alot of times no announcers or concession stands. Playoffs? No thanks.
