In the hollow heart of midnight’s grip,
Where shadows cling and stars slip,
A cry, unheard, beneath the wind,
Whispers where the dark begins.

The earth it trembles, quiet, slow,
As if it holds what none shall know.
Beneath its weight, the secrets lie,
And in their breath, the echoes die.

The trees, they sway, like souls adrift,
Their branches bend, but do not lift.
For heavy is the sky tonight,
A canopy of endless night.

Yet in the dark, a flame persists,
A flicker born of clenched fists.
It burns in silence, cold and bright,
A beacon in the swallowed light.

And so, we stand, we rise, we fall,
Beneath the silence, we hear it call.
For in the still, the soul takes flight,
To find its truth beyond the night.
