The people I train aren’t always great athletes. Most are regular people who just decided to show up.

That’s it. That’s the whole secret.

I’ve worked with people who couldn’t do a bodyweight squat when they started. People who told me they’d never be “gym people.” People who just needed someone to tell them what to do and hold them accountable.

Every single one of them got stronger. Every one.

I have open spots right now — Mon, Tue, Thu. 30 minutes is enough to change things.

DM me “TRAIN” — new clients get 3 sessions for $99 to try it out.

Today’s emphasis is on technique. Following the meet in Milton, I felt a significant sense of humility regarding the competition, realizing that competing with top-tier lifters necessitates refinement in all aspects. In the squat, I am focusing on dynamic effort movements, completing 8 sets of 2 reps at 295lbs. By adopting a slightly wider stance, I recognize the need to engage my posterior chain more effectively, which will in turn develop stronger glutes and hips. During deadlifts, my focus is on maintaining a more upright chest position, avoiding excessive lean over the bar, an area where I consistently struggle. I worked up to a top set of 2x2 at 500lbs.

This weekend at the RPS Revolution meet in Milton, DE our team walked away with 11 Delmarva state/regional records in a single day.
But the numbers aren’t even the best part.
and both stepped on the platform for the very first time — and both of them left with state records. Watching two first-time competitors handle that pressure and perform like veterans is something I won’t forget for a long time. That’s what this is all about.
As for me — I’m grateful, but I know I have more in me. The work continues.
This gym builds more than strong people. It builds competitors. 💪

🏋️ Trainer Tip of the Week: Break Through Your Bench Plateau
Stuck on your bench press? The answer isn’t always more weight — it’s smarter programming.
Here’s what actually moves the needle:
📊 Volume — Sometimes you need more total work, not heavier sets. Add a set, add a rep, add a day. Let the volume build the base.
⚡ Intensity — Other times, you need to push closer to your limit. Drop the reps, load the bar, and train with intent.
🔄 Variation — When progress stalls, your body has adapted. Swap in an incline, a floor press, a close grip — same movement pattern, new stimulus. New gains.
The best programs don’t just go heavier every week. They cycle through all three. That’s how you build a press that keeps climbing month after month.
Try rotating one of these 7 pressing variations into your training and watch what happens. 👆 Swipe up for the full breakdown.

I really am just blessed to be able to get up everyday and do something I really love to do. I love coaching. I love seeing the members here and my clients reach new milestones in their Fitess journeys. I love seeing new PRs. We have such an amazing group of people that come in and train hard (most days😂). We work hard and we have fun. Owning a gym was always something I wanted to do. And I am beyond grateful I am able to do that.
