INTRO — FROM BREAKEVEN7VYN

I think everybody has a letter they never sent.

Maybe it was to somebody you loved.

Maybe somebody you hated.

Maybe somebody you lost.

Maybe it was a letter to yourself.

For me, “LETTER 2 (Nonchalant)” lives somewhere in that space.

It’s about having everything you want to say sitting right there in your chest—and still choosing not to say it.

Not because you don't feel it.

Because you feel too much.

There comes a point where explaining yourself starts feeling like begging to be understood. And I had to learn that sometimes silence isn't weakness.

Sometimes silence is the last piece of control you have.

That's where Nonchalant comes from.

---

THE INTERVIEW

Q: What is “LETTER 2 (Nonchalant)” actually about?

BreakEVEN7vyn:

Honestly?

It’s about a relationship that never really had a clean ending.

I met Kathryn in rehab in the summer of 2024. We were both trying to get clean, trying to figure out how to exist without the chaos that brought us there in the first place.

We went from the street, to a crackhouse, to staying with a cousin, to finally having our own room. It felt like survival turned into something that looked like love.

But it was never simple.

There was cheating on both sides. There was love that showed up and disappeared depending on the day. There were moments where she’d look at me like I was everything, and other moments where I felt like I didn’t exist at all.

She got pregnant by someone else, and that changed everything between us—but it didn’t erase the attachment. It just made it more complicated.

There were times she’d use her daughter as leverage in arguments, and times I’d relapse twice chasing the idea of recovery while still chasing her at the same time.

So when I say “Nonchalant,” I don’t mean I didn’t care.

I mean I cared so much it started breaking me.

And eventually, I had to learn how to stop reacting to every version of her I loved and lost.

---

Q: Why call it “LETTER 2”?

BreakEVEN7vyn:

Because this isn’t the first letter I’ve written in my life that I never sent.

And it probably won’t be the last.

But this one feels like a continuation of something unfinished between me and her, and also between me and myself.

Music became the only place I could say what I couldn’t survive saying out loud.

So “LETTER 2” is just another page in a conversation that never got closure in real life.

The cover still says:

“I wrote this letter, but I ain't sent it…”

That’s exactly what this is.

Some things you don’t send because sending them would reopen everything you’re trying to heal from.

---

Q: Who is the letter to?

BreakEVEN7vyn:

It’s to Kathryn.

But it’s also not just to her.

It’s to the version of me that thought love could fix addiction.

It’s to the version of her that was still fighting her own battles while trying to love me.

It’s to the space we lived in where everything was unstable but still felt like home for a moment.

And honestly, it’s to anyone who’s ever been stuck loving somebody while both of you are falling apart at the same time.

So yeah—it’s personal.

But it’s not exclusive.

---

Q: The cover feels romantic, dark, almost gothic. Why?

BreakEVEN7vyn:

Because that’s what it felt like.

Love in that situation wasn’t clean. It wasn’t safe. It wasn’t stable.

It was intense, destructive, and real in a way that’s hard to explain to people who’ve never been in survival mode with somebody they love.

I wanted the artwork to feel like something you shouldn’t be looking at—but can’t look away from.

Because that’s what the relationship was.

Something beautiful and broken at the same time.

---

Q: There's a line on the artwork that says, “I'm good, I just learned how to not show it.” Is that the heart of the record?

BreakEVEN7vyn:

Yeah.

That line is survival.

Because there were so many moments where I wasn’t good at all.

Relapsing twice while trying to stay clean. Loving someone who was also hurting me. Trying to be stable in an unstable environment.

At some point, you stop explaining your pain to people who can’t fix it.

So you just start saying:

“I’m good.”

Even when you’re not.

Not because you’re lying.

But because you’re tired.

That’s what “Nonchalant” really is.

It’s not numbness.

It’s learning how to stop bleeding on people who don’t know how to help you heal.

---

BREAKEVEN7VYN ON THE SONG'S PLACE IN THE RØGUEVERSE

Everything I create exists somewhere inside a bigger world.

That's the RØGUEVERSE.

But this one hits different because it’s not just fictional emotion—it’s real memory.

Real people. Real mistakes. Real recovery attempts that didn’t always stick the first time.

“LETTER 2 (Nonchalant)” is one of the most honest pieces in that world because it’s not trying to romanticize anything.

It’s just me looking back at a time where love and addiction were happening in the same breath.

And realizing I survived it.

That’s a different kind of power.

---

WHY “NONCHALANT” MATTERS TO ME

I used to think love meant holding on no matter what.

But I learned that sometimes holding on is what destroys you.

There were moments where I had to choose between reacting to everything I felt—or protecting what was left of me.

And I didn’t always choose right the first time.

That’s where relapse came in.

That’s where loss came in.

That’s where learning came in.

So “Nonchalant” isn’t about not caring.

It’s about finally understanding that caring without boundaries can kill you.

---

THE RECØVERYWËAR CONNECTION

RECØVERYWËAR means more to me now than it ever did.

Because recovery isn’t just leaving substances behind.

It’s leaving patterns behind.

It’s learning how to love without self-destruction attached to it.

It’s learning how to walk away even when your heart is still in the room.

RECLAIM. RECOVER. RENEW.

That’s not just branding.

That’s what I’m still trying to live.

---

BREAKEVEN7VYN'S MESSAGE TO THE LISTENER

If you’re listening to this and somebody came to mind immediately—

I understand that feeling.

Maybe you’re still in it.

Maybe you got out of it.

Maybe you’re still relapsing in different ways trying to cope with it.

Whatever it is—

don’t lie to yourself about what it cost you.

You don’t have to send every letter.

But you do have to be honest about why you wrote it.

That’s the difference.

“LETTER 2 (Nonchalant)” isn’t about not caring.

It’s about finally admitting what caring did to you—and deciding not to let it destroy you anymore.

---

RAPID FIRE — BREAKEVEN7VYN

Love or closure?
Closure.

Say it or write it?
Write it.

Forgive or forget?
Forgive. Forgetting isn’t always real.

Heart or ego?
Heart—but with survival instincts.

Explain yourself or let them assume?
Let them assume.

One word for “LETTER 2”?
Survival.

One word for BreakEVEN7vyn right now?
Rebuilding.

What do you hope somebody takes from this song?
That love and pain can exist in the same place—and you can still choose to save yourself.

---

FINAL WORD — BREAKEVEN7VYN

I don’t know who this song is going to reach.

But I know somebody out there is still stuck in a version of a story they can’t fully leave yet.

Maybe this is just a reminder that you’re not crazy for still feeling it.

But you also don’t have to stay there forever.

LETTER 2 (Nonchalant)

I wrote it.

I lived it.

I survived it.

I just ain’t send it.

🥀📖 ARTIST & COMIC SPOTLIGHT: BreakEVEN7vyn — DELUSIONS EPISODE 3: "I N T E N T I O N S🥀"

Presented by RØGUE & COMPANY RECORDS

If Episode 2: FOR GLORY was about ambition...

Episode 3: I N T E N T I O N S🥀 is about what it cost to get there.

This chapter isn't built around a traditional song structure.

No catchy hook.

No repeated chorus.

No radio formula.

Just one long verse.

One long conversation.

One long confession.

One shot.

One take.

One truth.

🥀 The title itself tells the story.

"I N T E N T I O N S🥀" isn't asking what happened.

It's asking WHY.

Why do people become who they become?

Why do some people break while others survive?

Why does trauma shape us long after childhood ends?

The song begins with one of the most painful lines in the entire DELUSIONS series:

"I was only 6 when my innocence was ripped away."

Immediately, the listener understands this isn't fiction.

This is memory.

This is childhood viewed through adult eyes.

🚔 The next line paints the environment:

"Cops pulled up and shot James in his face."

No dramatic exaggeration.

No sensationalism.

Just reality.

The comic visualizes the moment through flashing police lights and a young child witnessing the harsh truths of urban America far too early.

🏙️ Then comes Philadelphia.

"I'm from Philly..."
"One of the trenchiest places."

The city isn't portrayed as a villain.

It's portrayed as a battlefield.

A place that creates survivors.

A place where dreams are often challenged before they even begin.

A place where making it out can sometimes feel impossible.

🏊 The story then moves into adolescence.

"Got jumped at Kelly's Pool more times than I can recall."

This line isn't included for sympathy.

It's included because those moments build character.

Every scar becomes part of the foundation.

Every setback becomes another lesson.

🤝 One of the brightest moments arrives when the song introduces Dee.

"Dee been my best mate since Kindergarten."

Among all the darkness, friendship becomes a light source.

The comic intentionally places warmth and color around these panels to symbolize loyalty surviving hardship.

💔 Then comes the emotional centerpiece.

"Worst of all..."
"My momma died before my career started."

Everything stops.

The pace changes.

The energy changes.

The reader is forced to sit with the loss.

Because this isn't simply about grief.

It's about absence.

It's about wondering what success would've felt like if she were still here to witness it.

🌟

"She was the first one to tell me I was a star."

Before fans.

Before streams.

Before stages.

Before records.

There was Mom.

The first believer.

The first supporter.

The first person who saw greatness before anyone else could.

🌌

"She would've wanted me and Nadia to go far."

This line transforms ambition into responsibility.

Success is no longer about fame.

It's about fulfilling a promise.

🪞 The middle of the verse becomes self-reflection.

"If I could just be a little more honest..."

The song shifts from blaming the world to examining the man in the mirror.

"People used me because I let em."

That level of accountability is rare.

It's one of the strongest lines in the entire DELUSIONS storyline.

Because growth begins when excuses end.

🏃

"These ni**as tryna lap me and I can't let em."

This isn't jealousy.

This is hunger.

This is refusing to stop running after purpose.

🏚️

"Somedays I wish I was sheltered."

A simple line.

But one carrying years of pain.

Years of wishing childhood had been different.

Years of wishing life came with fewer battles.

🎙️ Then comes the reason the song exists.

"I know there's someone that needs this message."

The record stops being personal.

The mission becomes bigger than the artist.

The pain becomes testimony.

The trauma becomes teaching.

The story becomes service.

💔

The final section contains some of the most difficult revelations in BreakEVEN7vyn's catalog.

"Step Pop abused me in the sickest of ways."

"My brother Blake blames himself for things he can't change."

"My cousin hopes I don't make it."

Family trauma.

Generational pain.

Jealousy.

Survivor's guilt.

All laid bare.

No filters.

No masks.

🙏 Yet the song refuses to end in darkness.

"But God I'm praying for the day that I can celebrate."

This is where DELUSIONS transforms from a story about pain into a story about faith.

❤️ The closing dedication is for everyone carrying invisible weight:

For the kids without fathers.

For the dreamers surrounded by doubters.

For single mothers.

For single fathers.

For anyone fighting battles nobody sees.

For anyone trying to survive.

For anyone trying to heal.

For anyone trying to believe again.

And the final message is simple:

"Keep it bean, I'm proud of you."

Not because you've already won.

But because you're still here.

Still breathing.

Still trying.

Still dreaming.

🥀 DELUSIONS EPISODE 3: I N T E N T I O N S🥀

A one-verse autobiography.

A prayer disguised as a song.

A scar turned into art.

🎭📖 ARTIST & COMIC SPOTLIGHT: BreakEVEN7vyn — DELUSIONS EPISODE 2: "FOR GLORY" 🏆🔥

Presented by RØGUE & COMPANY RECORDS

Some records entertain.

Some records motivate.

"FOR GLORY" does both.

In Episode 2 of the DELUSIONS comic series, BreakEVEN7vyn (formerly known as Syvyn) pulls readers directly into the mindset of an artist chasing greatness while carrying the weight of his past. This isn't a story about overnight success. It's about obsession, sacrifice, ambition, and refusing to settle for anything less than your purpose.

🎬 The story opens with a simple reality:

"Get to the point bro... You don't have forever."

Time is the villain.

Every dream has an expiration date if you never act on it.

As John Legend's "Everybody Knows" plays in the background, BreakEVEN7vyn compares life to a motion picture where he's no longer sitting in the audience.

🎥 "Life is a motion picture, starring I, so I'm posted in the front row."

This line represents taking ownership of your own story. No more waiting. No more watching others succeed. It's time to become the main character.

💰 The next section explores survival and ambition.

"My n***a cutthroat..."
"The important part be the cash flow."

The lyrics acknowledge harsh realities. Trust can be rare. Loyalty gets tested. Success often depends on maintaining focus while navigating difficult environments.

⛰️ Then the song shifts into determination.

"I'm stepping into my prime years."
"Signs of the times."

The comic visually transforms this section into a climb toward a mountain peak, symbolizing growth, maturity, and stepping into destiny.

😭 One of the strongest moments arrives when he admits:

"So now is the time to drop tears."

This isn't weakness.

This is releasing years of frustration, trauma, setbacks, and pressure.

🏆 "Never been average, striving until I'm top tier."

This line becomes the mission statement of the entire episode.

BreakEVEN7vyn refuses mediocrity.

He isn't competing against people.

He's competing against his own limitations.

🚀 The imagery becomes cosmic as he reflects on his transformation:

"Mama I made it."
"Went from getting high..."
"Ain't no space for this spaceship."

The spaceship symbolizes evolution. The old habits can no longer fit inside the future he's building.

🥇 The final act becomes an anthem for dream chasers everywhere.

"I wanna be the biggest."
"I'll never settle."
"Till I get every medal."

These aren't bars about ego.

They're bars about refusing to quit.

They're bars about maximizing your potential.

🏙️ Then comes one of the most personal moments:

"If I told where I'm from baby would you believe it?"
"Serving rock on the corner I'll tell you it wasn't easy."

The comic flashes back to North Philadelphia, showing the contrast between survival and success.

The message is clear:

Your beginning does not determine your ending.

❤️ The closing hook hits with confidence:

"If you can't be with me, then baby I'll make it easy."
"You need me."

Not because of arrogance.

Because belief in yourself is necessary before anyone else believes.

FOR GLORY is a story about betting on yourself when nobody else will.

It's the soundtrack of perseverance.

It's the anthem of becoming who you were meant to be.

🎭 DELUSIONS is more than a comic series.

It's a visual autobiography.

It's pain turned into purpose.

It's struggle transformed into art.

🚨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SYVYN 🚨

In collaboration with Instagram (Dreams Don't Sleep Records), we're highlighting one of the most transparent voices emerging from Philadelphia's underground scene: BreakEVEN7vyn (formerly known as SYVYN.)

His latest one-shot verse isn't just music—it's testimony.

From witnessing violence at a young age, surviving bullying, family trauma, abuse, loss, and the death of his mother before his career could take off, SYVYN turns pain into purpose. Every bar is rooted in lived experience.

🖤 "I was only 6 when my innocence was ripped away..."
🖤 "My momma died before my career started..."
🖤 "First step to recovery is being honest..."

This song explores grief, survival, healing, accountability, fatherlessness, broken homes, and the courage to keep dreaming when everything around you says quit.

The message is simple:

➡️ Your story matters.
➡️ Your pain doesn't define you.
➡️ Don't sleep on your dreams.

For the kids without fathers.
For the single parents carrying the weight.
For the dreamers fighting through adversity.
For anyone trying to heal while still moving forward.

This is more than a song.
This is a letter to the overlooked.
