I know that for me, I am the hardest on myself. I also know that mom guilt is real.

Giving myself some grace is something that I have to work on every day. In order to do this, I try to focus on the positive instead of the negative.

The best way to deal with change is to prepare for it.

I know what you're probably thinking, change is unpredictable, how do you prepare for something you don't always see coming?

It's actually not as difficult as you may think. Here are some ways to be ready for change:

👉 Subscribe to newsletters revolving around your niche to stay on top of breaking news
👉 Follow accounts of others in your niche
👉 Pay attention to the needs of those in your niche

The key here is to let change roll off your back. Don't let change throw you off balance. Remember, no one grows in their comfort zone.

I cannot stress this enough. I can attribute a good portion of my success to the lessons that I learned from mentors. The key to picking a mentor is to choose someone who is on a path that you are currently on or aspire to be on.

Don't ask someone to mentor you just because they are successful. Focus instead on how they obtained their success. You want to be mentored by someone who shares the same values and has similar ethics.

If you struggle with commitment issues, you are not alone. ✋⁠

I think we are all guilty of struggling to fulfill our commitments because life gets in the way. We start out with good intentions but then life throws a curveball and things fall through the cracks. ⁠

So what do we do?⁠

The first step is to understand the gravity of commitment. It can be tempting to agree to do all the things because we want to make people happy and we want our business to grow but growth only happens if we follow through. ⁠

It is far worse to commit and not follow through than to not commit in the first place. ⁠

My advice?⁠

Take commitment seriously. When you commit to doing something, make it a priority to follow through, regardless of what is going on around you.

Commitment is the willingness to get back into the grind when you feel like maybe you’ve been defeated. ⁠

And maybe sometimes you have been defeated. Completely and utterly destroyed and shattered across the floor… You still manage to get back up and keep on chasing after those things that are important to you.

In script-writing and book series, there’s a device known as an ‘open loop’.

We ordinary folks know them as cliffhangers, from the days when weekly cinema serials would end the episode with the heroine dangling off a cliff, holding onto a tree-root with one arm. The unspoken question that sprang into the viewer’s mind was, “Will she fall or won’t she?”

Of course, the hero always hoisted her to safety right at the beginning of the next episode, but here’s the part most people miss:

Even though we KNOW Johnny Hero is going to save the heroine, there’s always that fear of “what if he doesn’t?” That fear – or sometimes that hope – is what made people go back to the cinema the very next Saturday to find out for sure.

Use open loops in your writing. (They seem to be especially effective in emails, lending themselves perfectly to that format.)

The idea behind them is simple: You begin delivering information, but before you complete the thought, you move on to something else.

Human behavior is hard-wired to “close loops”, and your audience’s brain will feel that they *need* closure. This compulsion will keep them reading.

We've been doing "pounds" of cold outreach that has translated into millions of dollars and super happy sales people in the last couple of months. Our CEO is also very happy because we started doing it internally too and are getting amazing results as well.

And one fascinating thing about cold outreach is that a lot of marketing "gurus" shame it. We think they shame it because they don't know how to bang out 7-Figure-level cold messaging.

Yall want to talk about how amazing your product is but cold email masters take the OG approach of advertising and infuse it with stone cold selling.

Landing clients and customers with this approach elevates the relationship - there's a mutual respect because you approach your prospects with a serving mentality, and they value the fact that you reached out to genuinely lock arms with them.

Stop hustling people. Start marketing.

Data collected by GWI shows that at least 98% of the users of any given social media platform also use at least one other social platform.

Individual social platforms are also subject to significant audience overlaps, with 85% of TikTok users aged 16 to 64 saying they use Facebook, and almost 95% of Instagram users in the same age group saying they also use YouTube.

While the general concept of audience overlap may not come as a surprise, the extent of these overlaps has particular relevance to marketers.

The key takeaway is that brands do not need to be active on every single platform, and in fact the data show that a presence on just one or two of the larger platforms offers the potential to reach almost all of the world’s social media users.

Master one. Then the next.

The choice of platform is influenced by the ICA or ideal client avatar your business pursues.

How to improve your company's customer acquisition strategy👇

1 - make sure that you have a CRM that can track your current customers' data.
2 - interview past and current customers and gather important information like why they bought the service or product, current pain points (to design more or better products), and past pain points, etc.
3 - Research your competitors and analyze how they are showing up. Do not worry too much about follower count because any ethical and seasoned marketer will tell you that followers do not equal sales.
4 - Design a multifaceted marketing strategy. This is called a marketing mix. We like to call it marketing mixology🍻 (because we are fancy).

Marketing Mixology is the concept of focusing on various strategies at the same time.

If you are a real business you understand the importance of having a marketing budget because it is clear that you should not put all your pretty eggs in one basket.

Instead, it's all about divide and conquer: social media, paid advertising, email marketing, cold outreach, Facebook groups, etc.
