Martha Graham Cracker + Johnny Showcase Live!!!

World's tallest and hairiest drag queen Martha Graham Cracker joins forces with her ex-ex-ex-lover Johnny Showcase for a livestream like you've never seen before, sponsored by Philadelphia real estate company Love Your Block.
This show will be a very high-quality livestream with ten cameras courtesy of Rocco Films, pristine sound courtesy Craig Kauffman, and a super cool venue called The Factory, which is an amazing old theater.
The show will be 100% live -- meaning you are watching it at home while we are performing -- but if you can't join us on April 17th, don't worry. Anybody who registers for the show and can't "attend" live will receive a copy of the video after, so you can enjoy it whenever and wherever you want.
There are a variety of pricing options, from basic pay-what-you-can to the $25 Mariah to the $50 Dolly to the $100 Aretha. And then there are higher sponsorship levels, which include the $250 Force Martha (you can literally force me and the band to TRY to perform any song you name, and only one of these are available), the $500 Song Dedication (this is how you get the world's tallest and hairiest drag queen to propose for you or wish your cat a happy birthday, all live on the Internet for all the world to so), and other higher-level sponsorship benefits can be crafted to suit your needs.
If you experienced the temporary glitch during the the February show, don't worry! We've upgraded everything by leaps and bounds and our March 19th livestream went off without a hitch. That said, if there is a problem with the livestream, which we do not anticipate, all ticket-holders will receive a clean copy of the video after.
But just remember: This is 100% live. And this is cabaret. If we don't fall on our face at some point, if Martha doesn't yell at Ned, if Victor doesn't get a bit of blood on his keys when he does a glissando, well, it's just not a show.
You'll be able to watch this live on your mobile device, laptop, big screen Smart TV, etc. It will be easy to watch via links that will be provided in advance of the show.

The Quixote Project - Livestream

The Quixote Project - Livestream sponsored by Tonewood Brewing Company. The Quixote Project is a roots-music outfit that pulls from traditional genres to blur the lines of modern music. "Frontman Jeff Selby, Josh Barra and Brett Riley with a revolving cast of musicians have distilled the multi-genre sounds of a beachfront music festival into a remarkably cohesive live set, with hints of bluegrass, folk, and rock in a style that would be pigeonholed as “jam” if the songwriting wasn’t so explicitly pop-oriented" says Dave Fox of MUSIC WITHOUT LABELS.

Our new single "Namesake" off our new album took home "Best Folk Song" at the 2019 Homey awards along with singer Jeff Selby winning "Best Lead Vocal. Our album LAND OF PLENTY recorded at Cambridge Sound studios has garnered “Album of the Year” and “Band of the Year” for the 2018 WSTW 93.7FM Homey Awards. As well as “Americana/Folk band of the Year" "Musician of the Year" and "Instrumentalist of the year" at the 2018 Elephant Indie Music awards. Our last album "Bone Shaker" helped us get nominated as "NJ Indie Band Of The Year" by Tri State Indie, and our song "Tread Easy" was nominated for "Best Folk Song".

We have shared the stage as direct support for notable artists such as Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Little Feat, Charlie Daniels, John Pardi, Sister Hazel, and have performed along side many talented regional/local bands. We sincerely appreciate the continued love and support. Thank you and cheers music!!

Renowned musician Ross Bellenoit features his full band and special guest Brittany Ann in this streaming concert from Philadelphia's historic Turtle Studios. After making his mark touring the world as an electrifying guitarist, the prolific songwriter and record producer has slowly built acclaim as a moving storyteller.

Suggested ticket price $15, all donations welcome: Venmo -Bellenoit or paypal.me/rossbellenoit

Bellenoit has also been a creative force in funk-fusion trio Muscle Tough, indie-rock outfit Arc Divers, country-rockabilly favorites The Sweetback Sisters, and backing a very long list of solo artists (Amos Lee, Lizanne Knott, Joseph Parsons, Birdie Busch, Madalean Gauze).

This is Bellenoit's first major concert since the summer release of his album "Where Does The Light Go?" — his fourth full-length album of original songs and ninth album overall. Both the album and this concert feature Jaron Olevsky (Amos Lee) and drummer Chuck Staab (Melody Gardot), each an accomplished music director in his own right.

“Ross Bellenoit’s solo songs are full of tasteful pop melodies and solid guitar playing ... the softer, laid-back nature of his vocals creates a warm juxtaposition to his crisp string work.”
— Songwriter’s Monthly

Brittany Ann was dazzling folk-Americana audiences at Godfrey Daniels with her voice and songwriting before she'd even completed high school. She will open tonight's concert with a set of her own new original songs, then also join in for part of Bellenoit's set.

"One part Joni Mitchell and one part Natalie Merchant-- the perfect combination of acoustic soul and ethereal melodies" —The Express Times

Composer and saxophone prodigy Immanuel Wilkins presents his first major concert since the release of his acclaimed debut album "Omega" for Blue Note Records, featuring pianist Micah Thomas, bassist Daryl Johns and percussionist Kweku Jones.

Donations to Venmo -wilkins or paypal.me/immanuelwilkins

The New York Times: "Anyone trying to tune into the present moment in jazz could do a lot worse than starting with Immanuel Wilkins, an alto saxophonist whose playing is at once dazzlingly solid and perfectly lithe."

JazzTimes: “'Omega' is the most important debut jazz recording in years.... Wilkins is neither straight-ahead nor avant-garde ... His lyrical extremity goes back to Charlie Parker and forward to Ornette Coleman and beyond.”

Jazziz Magazine: "Wilkins clearly has a vision, at once serious and sensuous. 'Omega' teems with rage and reflection, meditative musicality and expressive intensity, and a sturdy technical bravura ..."

NPR Music: "An Alto saxophonist with this really exceptionally expressive style, you hear so much emotion in his playing, it’s a very human sound."

GLIDE: "This is more than an impressive debut: it deserves consideration for one of the year’s best."

The Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret turns 15 years old in August, and so the Philadelphia born-and-bred rock and roll drag cabaret is planning an extravaganza like you’ve never seen before.

The full band will perform 100% live at South Philadelphia’s venerable Turtle Studios for all the world to see online, with impeccable sound and an eight-camera crew from Rocco Films. Don’t worry: this is not going to look and sound like your last Zoom “meeting.” There will even be ways for fans to request songs and to interact with Martha live.

This live extravaganza is to benefit Philabundance, which distributes food to 90,000 people each week in the Philadelphia region. The show is free, but we ask that you make a donation to Philabundance in lieu of paying a cover. Each dollar you donate to Philabundance provides two meals to somebody who needs them. Our recommended donation is $20 (the average cost of a Martha Graham Cracker ticket), which would provide 40 meals, but give as you are able. There will be a direct link for donations as well as a text-to-give campaign.

This show would not be possible without the generous support of Sandi Foxx-Jones of The Abstract Company, FringeArts, Billy Penn, Rocco Films and Turtle Studios.

Oh, and if you have no idea what The Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret is, you’re in for a treat. Called “the Drag Queen King of Philadelphia” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Martha Graham Cracker, played by Pig Iron Theatre Company co-founder Dito van Reigersberg, is a five-person band that plays mashups, rearrangements and straight up bastardizations of an array of favorite songs, from metal to 80s pop to classic soul, and a little of everything in between. Martha is accompanied by Victor Fiorillo (keys), Richard Hill (guitar), Andrew Nelson (bass) and Ned Sonstein (drums). Wardrobe and styling by Max Brown.

Presented by Rocco Films and Turtle Studios, powered by the GO Live streaming platform.
