Join me on Community Spotlight on Sunday, August 3rd at 11:30 AM and Monday at 9:00 AM, as I sit down for a conversation with Joe Keyes of the Joe Keyes & The Late Bloomer Band—a man whose journey is as interesting as the music he plays. He is the producer behind the Gil Scott-Heron Tribute Concert happening on August 23rd, right here in Philly!

We get into his background, his journey, his second act in life—and why honoring Gil Scott-Heron means so much to him and his band. He brings the passion, the music, and the truth—just like Gil did.

We’re talking real talk as we rev up for the 2-HOUR live tribute show that’s gonna leave you energized, inspired, and on your feet on August 23rd at the Community Education Center (CEC).
You do not want to miss it.

So tune in, listen up, and tell a friend.

This Sunday, 91.7FM WKDU in Philadelphia, or listen online at wkdu.org/listennow

And if you know that Gil Scott-Heron’s legacy matters, share this post. Let’s celebrate his voice, his impact, and this powerful tribute coming to our city.
