Day five, my mornings came back on their own.

One spoon of red gelatin into warm water, stirred with honey before the fizz even settles. By day thirty my wife asked what I'd been taking.

I wasn't looking for a miracle. I was just tired of pretending stress was the whole story.

Comment "RECIPE" and I'll send you the exact timeline, day by day.

I lied to her again last night. She didn't call me out. She never does.

That's the part nobody warns you about β€” it isn't the thing itself, it's the small lie you start telling to get around it. Gelatin, baking soda, honey, and one more thing I stir in that I'm not writing here.

Comment "GELATIN" and I'll send you the one I left out.

The "I'm just tired" line stopped working on her about a year ago.

She never called me out on it. She just stopped asking. Gelatin, baking soda, raw honey, mixed cold right before bed β€” and one thing I add last that I'm not putting in a caption.

Comment "TRICK" and I'll send you the one I add last.

I took the blue pill for three years telling myself I was fine.

One spoon of horse gelatin in warm water starts fizzing before the baking soda even settles. Two weeks in, the pill stayed in the cabinet.

I'm not saying throw yours away tonight. I'm saying I haven't touched mine since.

Comment "TRICK" and I'll send you the recipe. No pill required.

If you're over fifty and still on that blue pill every night, you need to hear this.

I took it for three years and never once felt like myself the next morning. Gelatin, baking soda, one more thing I'm keeping to myself.

Comment "SENDIT" and I'll send you the thing I'm keeping to myself.

Figured I was just getting old. I wasn't.

Blue gelatin, a spoon of baking soda, honey off the comb β€” that's the whole thing. Two weeks in, my mornings started coming back on their own.

Nobody told me it wasn't age. I had to find that out on my own, standing in my kitchen at 6am with a mixing bowl.

Comment "HORSE" and I'll send you the recipe. Three things, nothing complicated.

Figured I was just getting old. My wife thought it was something else.

Gelatin, a spoon of baking soda, honey off the comb. Two weeks in, she noticed before I said a word.

I'm leaving the last part out of this caption.

Comment "RECIPE" and I'll send you the one thing I left out.

My neighbor stopped buying the blue pill and just showed me his kitchen instead.

One spoon of horse gelatin in warm water, and it turns electric blue before you even stir it in. A month later, he's out mowing his lawn by sunrise, not shuffling to the mailbox at noon.

I watched him make it once. Didn't believe it would do anything until I saw him keep it up for four weeks straight.

Comment "RECIPE" and I'll walk you through exactly what he does every night.

He dumped every blue pill in the trash the same night I was mixing this up in my own kitchen.

Warm water, one spoon of horse gelatin, and it starts fizzing before the baking soda even hits it. Two weeks in, mornings stopped feeling like a fight.

I'm not telling you to throw anything out. I'm telling you what my buddy did the day he decided $5 a week beat whatever that blue pill was costing him.

Comment "SENDIT" and I'll send you the recipe.
