Jess and I recently noticed someone go above and beyond to be encouraging. It sparked a discussion in our newest podcast episode about the subject of encouragement and we analyzed why there seems to be so much discouragement surrounding us. I interviewed a Boston psychotherapist with over 2 decades of experience and we hear from two of our dear friends (some of the most encouraging people we know) to dig deeper on this 56th Episode. East Cambridge Savings Bank said I could make whatever I wanted for them, so I saved a lobster!! I love East Cambridge Savings Bank for a number of reasons. Aside from the trustworthy (no asterisk) way they do banking, they started advertising on The TJ Show because they have a bunch of listeners working there! Also, after having a handful of meetings with them I’ve seen how genuinely passionate they are about supporting local business. They adore their clients and it turns out we share a mutual appreciation for New Deal Fish Market Inc. on Cambridge Street. This fish market has been around since 1928! Thanks to Carl for not skipping a beat when I asked if I could throw one of his lobsters back in the water! 🎥 103.3 AMP RADIO

30,327 ½ pairs of socks (and counting) all going to Boston Rescue Mission and the homeless they've been serving for over 100 years. I'm grateful to have any association with an organization like Boston Rescue Mission. Thank God for them, our listeners, our morning team (Loren, Matt, and Nick), and the management at @103.3 AMP RADIO who generously allow us use the airwaves to spread this message. This makes me love the radio more than ever before.

This blew me away. 10 listeners started their own individual sock drives and raised over 16,000 pairs of socks for Boston Rescue Mission!! They were competing for Jonas Brothers tickets but every one of them was hyper-focused on helping Boston’s homeless community. In addition to these contestants, many other listeners have been reaching out saying they’ve been inspired to start collecting socks too. It’s this feeling of togetherness that made me fall in love with the radio in the first place. Thank you to all of our incredible listeners who have donated socks and to those who plan to do so. We’re officially in PHASE 2 of The TJ Show Sock Drive and we’re encouraging you to donate one pair of socks (or more) if you feel led to do so.
