Good morning FB Friends & Family! I have some great news to report!
The Uptown Entertainment & Development Corporation (UEDC) is pleased to announce that we are seeking a development partner who will work in tandem with the organization to complete a multi-phase development of the historic Uptown Theater. Please see the Uptown Theater’s web page below for the actual RFP and submit phase 1 responses by the deadline of July 31, 2023.
Note: We will not respond to individual calls about RFPs. We will respond to questions by email as time permits. Thanks.

Good morning, my FB Family!
First of all, I want to acknowledge God for permitting me to witness yet another rotation around the Sun on my Born Day yesterday (5/31)! I know I would not be able to do anything that I do, if not for Him sparing my life!
I would also like to thank everyone who acknowledged my special day yesterday, whether through FB posts (to this account, my Christopher Sean Lyons account, or my Chris Lyons account. I am eternally grateful to have received so many posts, texts, phone calls, IMs, DMs, etc., from each of you! I will do my very best to acknowledge each and every single one of you, however I wanted to take time here to publicly acknowledge each of you for reaching out to me, remembering me in your thoughts yesterday, sent a prayer up on my behalf, etc.
For us "oldheads", life as we knew it previously, has changed drastically. It is not all bad, though. I remain in prayer for our city, state, country and world. As bad as things may seem sometimes, I am reminded that this is indeed the time when we really need to "lean not upon our own understanding, but in ALL things acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct our paths"!
Thanks again to each one of you for your thoughtfulness. In closing, let's continue to be kind to each other. You never know how a thing such as small (or as large) as a smile or kind word from us, could be just the thing a person needs to feel from us. Love & Continued Blessings to each and every one of you!!!
