Seeking: Drop Date Lead Developer/Designer
Job Overview: Drop Date is a startup business idea developed by Luke Mills, Ryan Hall and James Evans in their Entrepreneurship in the Music Industry class during winter term. After a strong pitch presentation and interest from Mike Fiebach, the founder of Fame House, they decided to start taking the idea seriously. As an app-based startup, the app will need to be built from the ground up. A concrete idea and several mockup design examples are ready, but what is lacking is the coding experience needed to bring it to life. The developer will be compensated with a substantial share of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop framework and database necessary to run the app and browser-based platform.
Work closely with the Project Manager to meet deadlines and stay within timelines.
Follow creative vision of the Founders.
Provide design input.
Help gather beta testers.
Qualifications:
Drexel Computer Science Major preferred.
Demonstrable experience in mobile app development/design.
Strong interest in Music.
Excitement for the idea.
Team player.
Willingness to help build a company from the ground up.
Professional demeanor when things need to get done.
Ability to stay on task and meet deadlines.
To apply: Please send an email to [email protected] with [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] CC'd. Include your major, graduation year, description of your app development experience and a list of your favorite albums released this year. We will be scheduling meetings/interviews to explain the app idea and discuss the position in detail as soon as possible.
