The Weewo Show is a Latin music show that plays no Latin music! The show is an entertainment news driven show that features a blend of latin music with today’s hits in music. The show airs on WHIP radio, Temple University’s student run radio station. The Weewo Show first took its start on WPPJ Radio (640AM) in the city of Pittsburgh. reator of the show, Luis Cruz, became The Weewo Show’s first on air personality. After just two semesters, The Weewo Show was taken to WHIP Radio, when creator Luis Cruz transferred to Temple University. The show first premiered on WHIP Radio on Halloween (Oct. 31, 2010). The show was co-hosted by on air personalities Ricardo Torres, David Cruz and Rachel Edwards. In its third season, the show began to stream through Clear Channels iheartradio. A new line of co-hosts were introduced including Dan Casarella, Kerrin Simmons, Hinga Vonjo, and Chris Peter. In its fourth season the show features on air personalities Luis “Weewo” Cruz, Dan “Dan Cas” Casarella, as well as occasional appearances by Hayley Condon and Max Knott. The Weewo Show can be followed on Twitter . Starting with its fifth season show creator Luis Cruz left to study away in Los Angeles, with long time show host Dan Cas taking over. Pervious hosts Hayley and Max will continue to uphold the quality and fun of the show. The show will also see newcomers Tim, Stephen, and Alissa join the ranks.
