“Gemini”, the album from our 2023-2024 Artist in Residence is out today! O’Neill effortlessly bridges the grit of rock with the soul-soaked textures of the Sound of Philadelphia. Tracks like “95” lean into driving guitar riffs and bold, arena-ready energy, while others, including “Just Keep Breakin’ My Heart” are steeped in the lush harmonies, rhythmic sophistication, and emotional depth that define the city’s musical legacy. Rather than choosing one lane, O’Neill embraces duality—delivering a sound that’s as comfortable in a sweaty rock club as it is echoing the lineage of Philly soul, jazz, and R&B. The result is a body of work that feels both grounded and unbound, rooted in tradition yet pushing into new territory.
