It’s hard to put in no words just how special this little magical spot on earth is to me!!! Spending a lot of time the last two summers down here has given me so much, joy, community, laughter, gratitude, fun, presence, and love.

I’ve spent a lot of time + made many incredibly special memories with my parents that I know I’ll treasure, especially as they get older.

I’ve met so many incredible people (and a few s**t ones), and I’ve learned so many lessons and had the blessing of giving so much love to many as well as receiving so much love from many.

I’ve been reminded how special the little and simple moments are, and how important it is to really take time to soak them in and feel gratitude for them. And overall, just how to live more deeply and fully. And that I really really really love a good sunset.

I love you Margate, you’ve changed me for the better, and I can’t wait to, universe willing, keep falling in love with you many more summers to come ❤️

Feeling opinionated on the Internet lately, and I feel like this topic needs so much more attention because it’s wild the way women especially are shamed for literally just being themselves and living their life in a way that honors their needs + desires.

And I know why, the patriarchy thrives on women feeling shame and neglecting themselves! And people who carry a lot of shame, and aren’t taking care of themselves are disempowered, and therefore easy to manipulate, control, and use.

So if you’re someone who struggles to put themselves first and honor their needs and desires, or even just be their authentic self out loud, know that you’re serving every single other woman out there by continuing to find the courage to do so!!
