Today I recorded Bonnie Raines for the Podcast "Criminal". One cool lady - she and her mates broke into the FBI building in Media, PA, in 1971 and exposed how they were illegally spying on people in the anti-war and civil rights movement. It was a BIG deal, and caused congressional hearings and changes at the FBI.
That's the kind of people I like to have come in for interviews! Oh, and she didn't get caught either..

Today begins a new audiobook recording here at Leopard Studio. It is called "Healing the Thyroid with Ayurveda " and will be read by the author - Marianne Teitelbaum. I love these books that teach me about things I'm not that familiar with. The little Ayurveda I know seems very helpful. Tumeric people, Tumeric!

Ok, I'm sure there is a lot more to it! I'll let Dr. Teitelbaum fill me in.

This week we did 2 cool "Overtime" recordings, one with "Chop" who has 500 music videos directed in 5 years (how's that even possible?) and 2 feature films. The other by William Aston, a Philly rapper, who brought his producer (DJ Keys?). Plus I recorded a track on piano/keys and did a little musical collaboration with William. Hey, not bad really.

Leopard did a remote recording for the "You Made it Weird" podcast this past week. We took our system over to Morimoto Restaurant in Philadelphia and recorded Judd Apatow, Pete Holmes and Artie Lange. I can attest that these are some very funny people, plus very nice to work with! They were promoting the new HBO Show "Crashing"

Today I went over to Indy Hall where I will be recording a new podcast starting this Thursday. I had to test out the system I'll be using there - four microphones into a mixer, then out two channel to the interface and into Logic Audio. Perfect. And they have a really cool basic headphone splitter that can accommodate 6 sets. Indy Hall, you are very cool!
