The Target Report: CCL Industries Breaks the Rules

Time and time again, CCL Industries — the Canadian company primarily engaged in label printing and related specialties — finds niche players in small corners of the market and applies its characteristic discipline to the valuation of the target acquisitions.

Pending Shareholder Vote, RRD Finally to Be Bought

The R.R. Donnelley acquisition saga has finally come to a close. On February 2, the unnamed "strategic buyer" withdrew its non-binding and conditional offer to acquire the publicly-held printer.

As a result, RRD's largest bondholder and a 14.99% stock shareholder, Chatham Asset Management, will come out as the victor.

The M&A battle for control of RR Donnelley & Sons (RRD) — North America's largest commercial printing conglomerate — has been decided. WOW, it's great to see this magazine still happy and healthy. My father Carl Lock was the publisher back in the '80's-'90's. This photo shows my father would have been 80 years old last year. He passed in June of 2005. I miss that man everyday!
36 year veteran of sheet-fed offset printing looking for pressman job within 50 miles of 06331. Miehle, Man Roland, Heidelberg, Komori
A company that only seeks for it's own financial, economical earnings, excluding its employees advancement , could be mal interpreted , great long term achievement depends on hard workers who day by day hassle and go that extra mile to get the job done, Opening opportunities to become full time, should be offered to employees who love what they do, or that are willing to assist with the company growth.
Was 2008 the last year for the Lakeside Classics?
