Founded in the storied location of the great punk studios of old, Big Mama's Recording opened its doors in 2015 and unfortunately had to close them for reasons beyond our control in 2020. ecording, MAAS Building) to combine forces and bring you JAMTOWN. JAMTOWN is located inside the brand new JAMS building located at 2426 Germantown Ave. You can think of JAMS and JAMTOWN as the continued ethos of Big Mama's; JAMS is home to multiple practice spaces and personal studios for folks within Philadelphia's vibrant music community.
