Happy Labor Day! Here's a lo-fi flashback to when Bonfire member Alex Wiles interviewed Jim Moran on MMPTV about organized labor's role in national politics and what can be learned from efforts to form a national Labor Party in the mid 90s.
In addition to heading up the Philadelphia branch of the Labor Party, Moran was also executive director of the Philadelphia Project on Occupational Safety and Health and was a member of seven different unions. Moran also shares his thoughts on the Occupy Wall Street movement, the challenges facing American workers and the need for various interest groups to join forces to fight for economic justice and human rights.
