I’m only an hour and 20 mins by train from NYC, why don’t I do this more often?!🗽🚉

Always a treat to see a broadway show - Stranger Things on Broadway was INCREDIBLE 🤯 - but I also got off the waitlist and into a 30-min EDM run at Peloton Studios with the inspiring (and super nice!) instructor Logan Aldridge; such a great class and a amazing way to start the day! Couldn’t pass up a New York bagel either 🥯😋

A truly perfect 24 hours in the city and now I am already planning my next visit… send me your Broadway recommendations!!

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s been almost two months since my last cruise, I can’t believe how slow the time is passing ⏳ but don’t worry, I have three more booked through the end of the year, so plenty more content is coming up! Next cruise is just over a month away, I’m getting excited! 🛳️

In the meantime, I’m doing some embarkation port planning for later in the year for a cruise leaving out of Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 It’ll be my first time there, I have two days to spend pre-cruise, and I have absolutely no idea where or how to start researching, so I’m hoping to source info from anyone who has been before and would like to share recommendations! Hotels, areas to see, activities, etc. - please send it over, either in a comment or a private message if you prefer ☺️

Thank you so much, and stay tuned for my next cruise announcement 📣 Before then, I’ll be heading to Seattle for my best friend’s wedding at the end of August 👰🏼‍♀️💍

What a perfect day looks like in Tangier, Morocco 🇲🇦

Back in March on my Explora transatlantic cruise, I booked a luxury tour with Radito thanks to a friend’s recommendation, and it truly was one of the best tours I’ve ever done! From the views, to the food, the local kitties, camel riding on the beach, the varied architecture and history at the Kasbah, not to mention the absolutely unreal sunset while sailing away at the end of the day… I couldn’t have asked for a better first visit to the continent of Africa, and I can’t wait to come back! 10/10 experience ❤️

Well, folks - remember that time I flew to Switzerland just to ride the Glacier Express… and then it got CANCELLED?! 🚫

Unfortunately, I remember it all too well, and was forced to relive it while I spent the last week and a half editing this video! 😂🎬

But in reality, while it was devastating to lose out on a big part of what makes this scenic train ride so special (the experience onboard the train), it certainly didn’t make the views any less incredible! 🏔️

I won’t go into much detail here, because everything is pretty well covered in the video, but despite everything that happened on this very unexpected final day in Switzerland, I’m still so grateful for the experience overall and being fortunate to have had beautiful weather along the route - even if it wasn’t the train ride I had planned 🚂

It’s certainly a good reminder that bad days while traveling can and do happen, and although I consider myself to be somewhat unlucky with travel issues, whether it’s delayed or cancelled flights, trains, missed ports, what have you - at the end of the day it’s far better than the alternative, which is to be stuck at home working or even worse, physically incapable of traveling at all. So I am always careful to remind myself that it CAN be worse, and to appreciate what I do have 😊

Feel free to leave a comment with thoughts or questions, would love to hear from you! 💬

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone in the US enjoyed their 4th of July holiday yesterday! 🎆

This morning the second episode of my Switzerland land trip went live on YouTube! In this video I’m traveling by train (three trains to be exact!) from Lucerne to Zermatt where I’ll stay one night before leaving on another adventure!

The train ride was so scenic and wonderful, but I was absolutely blown away by the scenery in Zermatt - the views from my hotel room were incredible! I could walk right outside and see the Matterhorn!

In this video I also share my honest thoughts about traveling solo in Switzerland. It’s not what I expected! I’m learning that the culture is different from what I’m used to from traveling throughout other places in Europe (and admittedly, I am on ships much more often than on land, so it is an adjustment!)

One more video to go from Switzerland! 🇨🇭

I don’t just love cruising, I love trains too! 🚂🔊

This morning, Union Pacific’s Big Boy, the largest remaining steam locomotive in operation, rolled through northwest Philadelphia on its way to the Navy Yard, where it will be on display for the next several days! It’s incredibly hot out there, though… 94° before 11am. This heat wave is no joke 🥵

I was fortunate to be able to walk down to the train tracks running over the Schuylkill River and see it come by TWICE! What a way to kick off celebrating 250 years of the USA in none other than Philadelphia, America’s birthplace 🇺🇸🔔🦅

You can take the girl off the ship, but… she will always find her way back to the water somehow! ⛴️🌊

My first visit to Switzerland certainly did not disappoint!🇨🇭I flew from Barcelona to Zurich after my transatlantic cruise on Explora Journeys, then took a train to Lucerne where I stayed for two nights. My full day there was spent taking a boat ride all around Lake Lucerne where I took in view after stunning view everywhere I looked 🏔️🚠

Because I pre-purchased a 4-day Swiss Travel Pass, my train and boat rides came at no additional cost! I paid a little extra for 1st class and it was so worth it - fewer crowds, plenty of seats, better service, luggage storage, space, etc. You can see that in this video - the area for 1st class on the boat was fantastic, but I spent a lot of time on the outside decks enjoying the SNOW! ❄️🌨️

Yes, the weather wasn’t perfect, but I actually loved it! Such a wintery vibe for this time of year (late March)🇨🇭

If you want to see more of this amazing experience (and in 4K!) check out my long form video live now over on YouTube 🎬🎥

It’s been a busy spring and early summer with several fantastic cruises, but finally the first of my Switzerland land trip vlogs are here! In this video I’ve arrived in Lucerne, and for my first full day, what did I decide to do? Hop on a boat of course!🛥️🙌🏼

Because I purchased a Swiss Travel Pass that was good for all four days I spent in Switzerland, I didn’t have to pay anything to ride the boat all around Lake Lucerne. I chose to go with the 1st class version of the travel pass, and therefore had slightly elevated accommodations on trains and the boat rides, which made it easier to navigate with all the luggage I brought with me on this trip 😆🧳

I’m so glad I “overpacked” in the end, because my hat, puffer jacket, fleece-lined leggings, and waterproof hiking boots definitely came in handy - it snowed my first day there! ❄️🏔️

The first boat ride I took was so incredible I decided to get back onboard for another 2.5 hour ride around the lake, and I enjoyed every second taking in the breathtaking wintery scenery and mountain ranges. But there’s more in store - in the next video I travel from Lucerne to Zermatt for another exciting adventure to see the Swiss Alps!🇨🇭

I came to Switzerland and immediately got back onboard a boat! I sp...

It’s here! My FULL vlog from five days onboard the colorful and vibrant Margaritaville at Sea Islander is live on YouTube and it’s nearly one hour of pure fun! 👒🦜

From the moment I stepped onboard, I knew this cruise would be different. The vibe on the ship is unlike anything I’ve experienced, simply because the theming could not have been done better. Everything is so on point for the Margaritaville brand, and they did such a great job refurbishing this 26 year old ship! From the giant flip flop in the atrium, to the 5 O’clock Somewhere Pool Bar, and the Cheeseburger in Paradise complimentary dining venue, everything felt tropical and beachy. I loved it! 🍔🌮

I spent the five short days exploring the ship, trying the food and cocktails (the food surprised me!), watching shows, trivia, and karaoke, I may have even gotten ink onboard 🎨🧑🏼‍🎨

When it came time to disembark, I didn’t want to go! I’m already looking into their new ship the Beachcomber for next spring 🤭🛳️

I’m curious to hear your thoughts after watching my video - what do you think? Is this a cruise line you would want to try or is it not for you? 🤔

*this cruise was sponsored by Margaritaville at Sea, however all of my thoughts, opinions, and feedback are my own and not influenced in any way whatsoever by the cruise line.

Is Margaritaville at Sea Islander actually worth it for a solo crui...
