"Everything is Possible"
Suffice to say, everyday we spend at our isolated work stations carrying on during this crisis is one more day we miss all of the amazing artists and production whiz kids who've poured their hearts and souls into our work this past decade. We are extremely cognizant of how hard these next weeks will be on the freelancers who make up our extended production family, and during this time of need, Ted and Dave would like to extend our services to help each and every one of you in anyway we can.
So with sincere gratitude, for all you've done, please lean on us in regards to that one thing we always ask you for - WORK REELS! We're here to help you finally put those packages together of your greatest hits, free of charge, so that when production opportunities resume, you'll have those necessary elements to dazzle new opportunities with.
Always know we're in your corner, and here for any advice, or simply a positive vibe. Stay connected and join us in rooting for a better tomorrow, one day at a time.
"Make it Through Life"
OBEY: We had a plethora of highlights working with our friends at SYFY on the recent Midnight Rewind block we piloted to celebrate John Carpenter's "They Live", but perhaps nothing was more perfectly prescient than this faux commercial spot, lovingly conceived by Paul Triggiani and his Big Howl collective. Lensed by Drew Dillon Saracco, with songsmithing from Chuck Fay and a steller casting call courtesy of the one and only Katie Griffin. Our love of '80s board games commercials will never die!
Littles Adventures!
Our own Shannon Sun wrapped summer writing and directing a new series for Hasbro featuring two of the most delightful kiddos we've had the pleasure of working with. Meet Evelyn and Amora, whose "Littles' Adventures" debuted last week. Many thanks to the one and only Katie Griffin for finding such superstars, and to a fab field team - lead by DP Sean Grasso and props guru Matt Reed, with support from Mike Bland, Shawn McCloskey and Eric Carbonara - for making it all pop!
Old Navy "United States of Fun"
We were excited to team up the wonder twins power of director Scott Ross and DP Drew Saracco on a new social campaign for Old Navy via our friends at Chandelier Creative. Featuring a quartet of successful "out of the box thinkers," the series launched last week with this profile that had our post guru Amy DiLorenzo ... well ... jumping.
2018: Our Hearts Beating As One
As it's a day for love, let us gush on all of the amazing opportunities afforded to us by our fabulous clients last year, all of which wouldn't have sparkled so without our extended production family. From the best DPs right on down to our favorite PAs, we're constantly inspired by all the creativity and effort you pour into our work. Our hearts wouldn't beat to this rhythm without you!
Spherion "Heroes"
Happy to unveil our latest foray into character animation with this trailer for the staffing gurus at Spherion, who contacted us to craft a spot heralding an established line of characters representative of the silos they service. Directed by our own James Doolittle, who reassembled his old "Chica Show" animation squad, led by designer Jimmy Manocchio with fabulous support from Pete Olieman. 3D animation courtesy of Ross Reagan and Geoffrey Beatty, all buoyed by the dulcet tones of the indomitable Jacquie Baker. We smell sequel!
Hendrick's Gin "World Cucumber Day 2018"
Blare the trumpets! Sprinkle roses! Our latest deep dive into unusual cultivations for our friends at Quaker City Mercantile has been let loose on the world! Our own David Dunn directed the latest campaign for Hendrick's Gin and their World Cucumber Day extravaganza, expertly animated by the one, the only, Harvey Benschoter. All hail animated oddities infused with copious amounts of cucumbers!
Little Baby's Ice Cream "Ingredients"
It's here - SUMMER! The crew at All Ages hopes the season ahead is full of Little Baby's Ice Cream, shaved chests and appropriate sound effects.
"K is for Kif Kroker"
Admit it. By the end of the week, we all feel a little bit like Kif Kroker sometimes. We had the pleasure of hand selecting our own Futurama alphabet for SYFY. All hail feeling like Kif after another week like no other! All hail the letter K!
"Morbo (The Remix)"
As you've probably surmised, we had too much fun delving into the Futurama vaults with our friends at Syfy, and nothing probably showcases the depths of our creative psychosis than this earworm. Crank it up - the summer jam of 2018 has arrived!
"How to Date a Mutant"
Continuing our trip down memory lane with our friends at SYFY, our initial reveals on our stint crafting promos from the Futurama library were launched over Valentine's Day, where we helped teach the masses proper do's and don'ts on dating the mutant populace. Our own Harvey Benschoter crafted this report from the front lines.
SYFY / Futurama "Coffee Time"
This week, we're spotlighting the best spots our collective rolled for our friends at SYFY, who recently blessed us with marching orders to "have at" the entire Futurama library. Big ups to producer Shannon Sun-Higginson, who with post lead Harvey Benschoter guided over 50 deliriously demented spots in for a landing.
On any given Monday, rest assured that our own James Doolittle is somewhere sipping his favorite beverage ... maximizing "the Fry.” Editorial whiz Shane Barbera pays homage to our coffee budget.
Flipped
We do research. We shoot research. We commend research.
Life of a Building "East Market"
As the 1100 block of Market Street is finally beginning to reveal its new looks, we #tbt back to the Life of a Building series, produced for our friends at BLT Architects. #placemaking
Disney "Behind the Scenes: Felix the Pug"
The 6th most talented person we worked with last year wasn't even a person. It was a pug. Name of Felix.
PLCB "Happy Thanksgiving"
Tick tock. Don't stop. You have but one week to make your Thanksgiving spread look as luminous as the one we rolled for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Produced for our friends at Tierney Communications, with huge thanks to Zac Rubino, John Baumgartner and the team at Expressway Cinema Rentals. Set decoration by Adam Fergurson, direction by Ted Passon and added steely resolve from our own David Dunn and Harvey Benschoter.
The Life of a Building
Many stories. One city. Soon.
