Goodmorning guys so today i just wanted ro share this about me and my toddler’s morning

So Every morning after the first day of school my baby cries before school now 😩 and I know it’s because this is her first year being in any kind of school. It’s a big change for her she’s used to being right with me. I told her, “You’re about to be a big sister, mama. You gotta be good in school, no crying, and listen to your teachers.” When I asked her why she doesn’t want to go, she said, “I’m tired,” or “I don’t want to.” But I know my baby she’s just clingy to mommy 😅.

So this morning, I decided to pour into her spirit. I told myself, I’m gonna start speaking into my baby every morning, by the grace of God. 🙏🏾 I grabbed my matte lipstick and drew a heart on my hand and one on hers. I told her, “Once it dries, if you feel like you’re gonna cry or miss mommy, just kiss that heart and remember I’m always with you. Mommy loves you. I’ll kiss mine whenever I think about you.”

Then I reminded her, “You’re a big girl, beautiful and smart. You gotta pay attention in school so when baby J gets here, you can teach her everything you know.” She looked at me and said, “Okay mommy,” and I told her I love her and to have a great day.

When I tell you… she talked about that heart all the way to school 🥹 skipping, smiling, and when we got there, she told her teacher all about it. She said hi to everyone and walked in happy. That moment right there filled my heart up. I felt like I’m doing something right as a mom 💗 My baby was happy and ready for school 🩷
