People's Media Collection

People's Media Collection People's Media Collection is a pilot project collaboration between the Free Library of Philadelphia and PhillyCAM, Philadelphia’s public access channel.

From April 2017 through September 2017, PhillyCAM will place a community mediamaker in residence at Northeast Regional and West Oak Lane libraries to offer hands-on media trainings for library users. Trainings are held on a weekly basis and will focus on basic video and television production, community news gathering, digital storytelling, audio recording, and production using mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones.
