In 2002 Mike Tarsia left Sigma Sound Studios ..In 2003 Sigma Sound was sold to new owners. After a short hiatus from music, Michael built Mike Tarsia Recording a state of the art mixing and mastering room ...Mike set out to continue and refine the legacy of the studio that in the 20th century defined "The Sound of Philadelphia" . Soon word got out that there was still "that guy" out their doing w

hat he does best. From Philly to Germany, Vietnam to Madagascar, London to Bermuda clients sought out Michael's mixing and mastering talent. He then added an iso booth to accommodate local talent who knew his vocal tracking abilities honed on cutting artist as diverse as Patti Labelle, Leon Redbone, Hank Williams jr, Sheena Easton, Vanessa Williams , Maureen Mcgovern, Gerald Levert and many more.

what a month... first Bakithi Kumalo the bass player on Graceland stops over to lay fretless for GREG SOVER ..and i just emailed tracks we recorded of 2 Hendrix songs to Billy Cox for his BASS overdubs also for Greg Sover .. busy busy!!!!

on Friday , I’ll be the only studio to offer DW Fearn and U67 for vocals PLUS the exact vocal chain... electrodyne fully restored from the original console channel strips ...La4 and U87 that was used on the biggest hits out of sigma.. it took a minute to do but now you can’t cut vocals anywhere better
